• Thankyou for refraining from strong fragrance including strongly scented skin/hair products while in the studio which can trigger allergies or asthma in sensitive individuals. 
• This is a non smoking building. 
• Abusive language/behavior will not be tolerated.

• There are no make ups.  
• In the event of absence, Instructor cannot be held responsible for missed material or working around travel or personal itineraries of registrants. 
• This applies to both Group Courses, Course  Extensions and Private Instruction.
• Please donnot share course exercises with others especially if they are absent or not registered.
• Course extensions may be added or cancelled at the discretion of the instructor pending on  regular attendance of the group. 

Thank you for  prompt payment by e transfer which helps us to recover some of the following costs:  

• all start up costs including: 
• creating and printing illustrated step by step hand outs
• artist reproductions
• preparation of powerpoint presentations that accompany each exercise
• student and artist quality paper 
• drawing tools: graphite, charcoal, artist pencil crayons, conte 
• the marketing and website fees that spread word in order to create your course. 

Registration

• payment reserves a spot and is accepted by e transfer.  
• e transfer address is made available on the website for each individual course
• once the course is unavailable the website description will read Closed
• Look for a receipt of payment and full address details to follow once payment is received.

Refund Group Courses

• Before the course starts: Full refund if contacted by email before the first class. 
• Courses of 5 weeks or more:   pro rated refund available if email notice is sent and received by the instructor before class 2. 
• There is no refund after class 2. 

•  Fees are calculated by an hourly rate of approx. 22.00-25.00 per hour.
•  Includes drawing materials
• There is an additional fee for the sketchbook to purchase at first class.

Course Extender

• If instructor availability permits, and upon student request an added option for a course extension may be added on to the original course. 
• A  slight increase in fee may be applied to the extender in the event that registration falls slightly less than the minimum enrollment.  
• Course extensions are pending on regular attendance of the group. 
• Returning students are given first priority to register. 
• Where a student decides not to register for the extender, the spot(s) is opened up to new students. 

• In the unlikely event that a class is cancelled,(ie. instructor illness) you will be offered a make up in which case a make up is usually the same time and day, but added one week after the original ending date of the course. Please prepare your schedule to allow room for this possibility.

Course Cancellations

•  In the rare event that the course is cancelled you will recieve a full refund back to your original email address. Please allow 24-48 hours for full refund for cancellations. 
• Alternately, if you accept to transfer to an alternate course, the no make up policy still applies.  There are no make ups for missed classes once you agree to transfer to another course.  

• Course content and step by step exercises are prepared exclusively for those who are attending the classes in person. 
• Collecting, photographing or sharing  exercises for yourself or those not present in the class is not permitted.   
• Use of cameras, Zoom and Facetime are not permitted in class at anytime.  Anyone who fails to respect these city-wide  policies will be asked to leave the class.   
• Use of cameras to photograph artwork is permitted.   
• A class photo may be taken from time to time for advertising purposes.  

• The Studio Space provides washroom facilities, central air conditioning, as well as an option for a tea or to fill up your water bottle.  
• Please note that the studio space is extremely small and is not equipped to accommodate wheelchairs or walkers at this time.

Personal Hygiene

• Use of the kitchen sink for personal hygiene is not permitted.
• Please dispose any personal products into the garbage bin provided in the washroom.  Plastic self sealing bags are provided for this purpose.

• All course upates and registration links are sent to those who Join our Contact List in order to control for numbers and keep the instruction personal.
• By joining our contact list you agree to share your first and last name and a valid email address.  
• You are free to unsubscribe at anytime by stating Unsubscribe in the subject heading of the email.
